Nearly 200 applications for setting up different industries in Telangana are gathering dust with the industries department, thanks to the apathy of the Centre in allotting ‘state registration code’ for nearly a month. Industry proposals worth below Rs 10 crore have to be registered at the district level, and those over Rs 10 crore at the state level. The registration code number of the undivided state was allotted to Andhra Pradesh.
