President Pranab Mukherjee just broke the hopes of all Samaikyavadis by sending the Telangana bill to Andhra Pradesh assembly and giving it 6 weeks time to express it’s views. By giving 6 weeks time, he followed the conventions set by his predecessors. In all probability, the AP Assembly convening on 12 Dec would start discussing the issue much before the 40 days but maybe try to drag the discussion over few weeks to use the time given by President and delay introduction of the bill in the Parliament, especially in present winter session ending on 20 Dec.
