Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy is getting into an overdrive to justify the Centre’s move to hand over powers over Hyderabad to Governor. He is writing to all Chief Ministers in the country saying the Centre has every right to take over powers over the State capital through the Governor and rule it by proxy! Reacting to vociferous protests from TRS MPs in Lok Sabha over the latest letter sent by Centre to Telangana Govt,, the Home Minister Rajnath Singh said  that what the Centre has issued is an advisory and not an imposition on the State. He claimed that the Centre’s ‘advisory’ was in line with Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, which gives “special responsibility” to the Governor to protect life, liberty and property of those living in common capital of Hyderabad. CM KCR on Saturday shot off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi rejecting the Ministry of Home Affairs’ letter’s proposals to the State Government on Friday handing over state subjects of law & order to the Governor. The CM pointed out that bypassing the council of ministers by the Governor, as suggested by the letter, is neither sanctioned by the Constitution nor the AP Reorganisation Act.
