Chief Minister KCR came down heavily on land grabbers in the press conference on Wednesday. He said some in media and private groups are trying to justify encroachments of Govt lands by comparing those with Microsoft and Infosys which are built on what were once wakf lands. He said these escape routes wont work and pointed to the fact that while those companies were allotted lands by Governments, companies like Lanco and MR Properties cheated Government by using lands allotted to them for purposes other than what they were meant for.
