Video: Good Samaritan SI With A Helping Hand

M. Srihari, Sub-Inspector of Keesara police station is  unlike the stereotyped policemen who boss around junior police with domestic help and personal errands.

When HE came to know about a bloated body of an unidentified person floating in a water tank, look what he did in the video. He didn’t wait around to get home guards or constables to come and get the body but lead through example. He took off his uniform without any hesitation and entered the lake and was insisting for an extra hand to help him. After his persistence a couple of guys helped him to roll the body onto a plastic sheet and put it on a vehicle to the morgue.

The SI later wore his uniform, drafted the official documents before sharing details of the victim with the media. This 5 minute video shows alertness and leadership qualities of the SI and reminds us the honest officers still at the public’s service.

“I did not think twice before jumping into the water, it was my duty,” was all the humble SI said.
