There are colourful displays of various places one can visit, with a hint of their various attractions. Attractive pavilions have been put up by Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Assamand many other states, to cater to the local tourists. To enhance and showcase their respective offerings, aside from attractive and elegant stalls, participating states and countries at TTF Hyderabad will present daily cultural events and marketing presentations to trade visitors and the media.

Speaking on the occasion, B P Acharya, IAS, Principal Secretary, Planning and Tourism, Government of Telangana said, “Telangana, the youngest state of India, offers a number of exciting destinations for the tourists both from India and abroad. Apart from the capital city of Hyderabad, which is known for Charminar, Golconda fort, magnificent palaces, pearls and biryani, the Kakatiya circuit covering Warangal and Karimnagar, offers a flavour of the glorious heritage of the area. We are also promoting a host of lesser known places in the State, such as, Jannaram near Kawal tiger sanctuary and Kadem lake resort in Adilabad, Alisagar lake resort in Nizamabad for those interested in adventure and eco-tourism. Come… Discover Telangana!”

Chandana Khan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh commented, “In this year’s TTF Hyderabad, people need to know that there are two states in place of one composite state. Andhra Pradesh, they already know but they have to know about Telangana, and its geography. People will not bothermuch as long as there are good destinations, because the space remains the same. We have opened a lot of jungle resorts and forest resorts in the Telangana site on the Maharashtra border and we will be talking about them. But old destinations must be sold and resold because there have been value additions all the time, there have been new circuits and packages all the time. And there have been new clients here all the time, so we will have to keep talking.”

Apart from serving the tourists with information and booking facilitation, TTF is a vital meeting opportunity for the travel trade from the region, with their counterparts from all over India. The show is exclusively open for trade visitors till 3 pm on Saturday, after which it will be open for all till Sunday evening. TTF has always remained a must-visit annual event for travel-savvy Hyderabadis for their holiday planning. Tourists and business travellers alike can expect good bargains in travel packages and hotel rates.
