Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao unveiled the new logo of Telangana state police at the Secretariat on Tuesday. He also put on the newly designed badges onto the top officer’s uniforms on the occasion.  According to an official release, the logo was finalised after two rounds of scrutiny by senior police officials and a team of Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) from hundreds of designs. Telangana Union Of Working Journalists (TUWJ), Telangana’s would-be official association of Jounalists released it’s logo at Telangana Journalist Jathara. KCR unveiled the logo of what would be 29th journalist union in the country. In united AP, there was APUWJ which tried creating a Telangana unit under the leadership of K Srinivas Reddy and Devulapalli Amar. However, APUWJ has never been sympathetic to Telangana cause and it’s attempt was seen as hijacking Telangana’s own journalist union to serve the interests of Andhra’s political class.
