Telangana Government has issued GO 18 notifying the above new logo and badges for the police force in the new, India’s 29th, state. The logo noticeably has Hindi and English but no Telugu in it. It remained unchanged from what was reported 20 days ago. After 2 months of due process resulting in design of 3 different logos, the logo for Telangana police department has been finalized. A badge too is designed for police uniforms. CM KCR chose one among the 3, which is designed by noted artist Aley Lakshman. As widely known, Mr Lakshman designed the Telangana state government’s logo too. The logo has the 3 words duty, honour and compassion as motto.
