Information and Technology Minister K T Rama Rao today asserted that the Government is committed for industrial development and promotion and to create conducive atmosphere with employable graduates. Inaugurating a Technology Entrepreneurship Course at ISB in Gatchibowli here, KTR reiterated that the Telangana government would focus on bridging the skill gap among students to make them industry ready. The two-year programme is offered by ISB in association with Institute of Electronic Governance. Identifying the fact that most of the engineering graduates lack readily employable skills, the government of Telangana has decided to set up Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (Task) to impart skills during their course period itself, with the help of IT companies. Under TASK, the IT companies would be requested to impart employable skills by selecting some students each as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).
