Renaissance Time, Bonalu Gets A Week Long Exhibition Dedicated To It!

Call it Cultural Renaissance. ‘Bonalu’, an exhibition of paintings, sculpture, drawings, films and photography, will be inaugurated by Eminent filmmaker B Narsing Rao, at State Art Gallery, Madhapur at 5 pm on July 22. Live poetry sessions are to mark the show that is set to capture the spirit of State festival Bonalu. The exhibition will be on for a week upto July 29 from 11 am to 7 pm.

The curator of the show is Manohar Chiluveru, an artist from Warangal, who will display three paintings and a sculpture inspired by Bonalu and the five elements of nature. He will be doing live paintings for five days on the theme.

The event aims to globalise the Telangana art form by being a unique art fest dedicated to Bonalu.
