Clean Drinking Water To Fluoride Hit Villages My Top Priority – KTR

Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K. Taraka Ramarao on Thursday said the KCR government’s first task was to provide clean drinking water to the fluoride affected villages in the State. After taking charge as minister, KTR held a high-level meeting with the officials of Panchayat Raj, IT departments. Speaking on the occasion, he said he would not skirt his responsibilities assigned by the Chief Minister. He also said he got the ministerial post in the first Telangana government due to his good deeds in his previous life.

Assuring that he would spare no efforts to strengthen the Panchayat Raj set-up, he said he would strive for decentralization of power in PR department. Exuding confidence that he would successfully complete the prestigious ITIR project, KTR said he would provide employment to 15 lakh people directly and 35 lakh people indirectly during the next five years.
