AR Murugadoss’ ‘Raja Rani’ coming in a month

AR Murugadoss’ 3rd Tamil production ‘Raja Rani’ featuring Arya and Nayanthara is getting dubbed to be released in Telugu in a month. “The Telugu dubbed version will hit the screens soon. The news about the film being remade in Telugu is baseless. It’s a film for youngsters as well as family audiences, and therefore, I’m hoping it will be received very well in Telugu as well,” Murugadoss told IANS. ‘Raja Rani’ reportedly collected over Rs.20 Cr in the first two weeks of its release worldwide and is a superhit in Tamil. Murugadoss earlier production was dubbed in Telugu as ‘Journey’ and was a hit. ‘Raja Rani’ with it’s unique story is expected to repeat that success.

Starring Arya, Nayanthara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim, the film is a love story of a married couple who struggle to overcome their separate romantic pasts. The movie is directed by award winning short-film maker Atlee as his debut and won praise for the young director, who also assisted Shankar for ‘Robot’.
