Mahindra and Mahindra chief executive Pravin Shah on Saturday met Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at the Secretariat and offered to set up a manufacturing plant in Zaheerabad for Dhruv tractors with an investment of over Rs 300 crore. Mahindra has been running Asia’s largest tractor manufacturing plant in Zaheerabad. The CM assured him that the government will provide all the facilities for setting up the plant at the earliest. Biggest US Solar panel maker & developer ‘First Solar’ is making it’s India entry in Telangana with a 45MW PV plant. The facility, which will be the company’s 1stproject in the country, will supply electricity to Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana State Limited under a 20-year power purchase agreement. The PPA has been signed and project will be live next year.
