Telangana Rewards Everest Conquerers Poorna & Anand 25 Lakh & 5 Acre Land Each

Telangana CM KCR rewarded the everest conquerers handsomely in a resolution passed by assembly on Saturday. After taking feedback from the 2 champs, their family and mentor RS Praveen Kumar about their family needs and the kids’ ambitions, KCR awarded both the champs with 25 lakh each. Agriculture being their families’ backbone, he sanctioned 5 acre agricultural land each and promised initial investment needed for setting up pumpsets and motors in the land. In addition, as the families live in very small homes, the Telangana Govt. promised funds to add 3 more rooms to the existing houses of the 2 champs. KCR also announces 25 lakh reward to Shekhar Babu from Nalgonda who coached the students in their adventure and who is himself an Everest conquerer in 2007.

As the conquest news was reported 1st by TelanganaTalkies, the champs conquered everest on 25 May. Anand is from Khammam and Poorna from Nizamabad.
