KCR Flags Off 100 Innovas & 200 Bikes To Patrol Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Thursday assured that the State Government would modernise the entire police force in the next few months. He also assured that the CCTV cameras would be installed across the city in the next three months for round-the-clock surveillance. Further, the traffic control and management will be improved on the lines of Mumbai-model, he added. Today, he flagged off over 100 Innovas and 200 bikes to the Hyderabad and Cyberabad police at Tank Bund here. KCR also announced that an integrated police complex, with a central police command, would be constructed on eight acres of land at Banjara Hills. Telangana Govt. Releases Rs 272 Cr For Police Squad Cars & Other Vehicles

Telangana Government issues orders to release Rs 272 Cr for upgrading the police forces in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdictions. Around 3883 vehicles are to be purchases as part of modernization. The vehicles would be linked to a unified command through internet and 4G facilities. Vehicles of all classes – Heavy Motor Vehicles, Light Motor Vehicles, Medium Motor Vehicles, Motor Cycles, are being ordered for. The police bosses are already looking at demonstrations from different motor companies to shortlist make and models for purchases.
