The vandalism of AP police at old SIB building left the Governor shocked and worried over the example set by the law-enforcing authorities themselves in the charged differences over several issues of bifurcation, he called for a meeting of the police bosses of the two states today. The governor’s office sent meeting notices to them yesterday and asked them to bring along all information of buildings allotted to them. The governor is expected to review the documents and the ugly incident at the SIB building to avoid such recurrences again. The governor has taken a serious view of violations of rules laid down in the AP Reorganisation act, with regard to furniture and property. The AP Police justified the vandalism by saying that they took away furniture etc as they needed them at their new place allotted.
