KCR Flags Off 100 Innovas & 200 Bikes To Patrol Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Thursday assured that the State Government would modernise the entire police force in the next few months. He also assured that the CCTV cameras would be installed across the city in the next three months for round-the-clock surveillance. Further, the traffic control and management will be improved on the lines of Mumbai-model, he added. Today, he flagged off over 100 Innovas and 200 bikes to the Hyderabad and Cyberabad police at Tank Bund here. KCR also announced that an integrated police complex, with a central police command, would be constructed on eight acres of land at Banjara Hills.

The Chief Minister asked the police personnel to be friendly with the people. Expressing satisfaction over the falling crime rate in Hyderabad and Cyberabad, he said the crime rate could be brought down further with effective policing. He hoped that the modernisation would help the police in controlling the crime and maintenance of law and order.

Director of Police Anurag Sharma said that there would not be any compromise on the law and order issue in the State. He thanked the Chief Minister for the steps taken to modernise the police force.
