KCR Criticizes Propoganda Against Survey

Chief Minister KCR criticized the opposition parties for raising a hue and cry on the Intensive Household Survey to be conducted on Aug 19.

Addressing the gathering at Golconda fort after unfurling Tricolor for the first time, the Chief Minister criticized that some bad elements are coming in the way of the survey aimed to implement welfare schemes avoiding misuse of funds. There is no need of doubt or confusion in this regard, he said. Since the government has no proper details of people, they  are conducting the survey,  he said adding that it is proved that successive governments have involved in irregularities with regard to ration cards, housing to poor and pensions besides implementing welfare schemes.

‘We want to weed out bogus beneficiaries and  keep a tab on middlemen misusing public money’, he said. The TRS Government is conducting the survey only to collect correct details pertaining to the people to ensure that the genuine get the benefits. The Government does not want to cause inconvenience to people and they need to cooperate with the officials for survey. The opposition parties are trying to confuse people by raking up issues over it, he pointed out. They should not fall prey to some vested interests who are trying to create panic-like situation over the survey, he added. KCR appealed to the people to be at their homes and avoid confusion on August 19. The Government is making all out arrangements for the survey to be successful, he said.

The Government is committed to transform rural villages by providing all possible amenities, upgrade Lambada Thandas to Village Panchayats and give Rs 50,000 towards Kalyana Lakshmi scheme, he said.
