10 MW Solar Plant Completed In 100 Days In Midjil Of Mahabubnagar Dist.

A 10 MW solar plant at Midjil in Mahbubnagar district is completed in a record 100 days by company called RaysPower Infra, a Bangalore based real estate Company.

This plant will supply power to all the corporate offices in Hyderabad of one of the largest banks in the world. Moreover, it is the largest third party open access project in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh and sets an example for any consumer as to how to hedge their power tariffs. Thus, Consumers would be able to get power at much lesser price in comparison to what government provides them.

The project has been set up at an investment of ₹65 crore and has an estimated annual output of 18 million KWH.

A brainchild of IIT Roorkee professors and students, Rays Power Infra is a solar power service provider in India and a developer of solar parks. It has 5 more projects in Midjil.

  1. The article talks about Mahbubnagar district but mentions it as a part of Andhra Pradesh. Its no more andhra pradesh its Telangana state.
